Working in collaboration with The Protein Ubiquitylation Unit of the Scottish Institute for Cell Signalling and other world class ubiquitin research laboratories Ubiquigent is developing cutting edge validated reagents, kits and services for the research community that will help advance understanding of the biology of the ubiquitin proteasome pathway (UPP).
Through our close relationship with the laboratory of Professor Sir Philip Cohen's MRC Protein Phosphorylation Unit, Ubiquigent will also support researchers studying the critical interaction of the UPP with cellular kinase signalling pathways. Over the past fifteen years kinases have been the focus of many drug discovery companies, Ubiquigent anticipates that as the research community further unravels mechanisms and pathways of the UPP the opportunity for drug development in this space will increase. Ubiquigent is dedicated to developing assays, kits and services to support the rapidly growing academic and drug discovery interests in this field.
